Winter in Estes

Luxury Winter Retreat

Vacationing in Estes and RMNP in Winter

Peaceful, Quiet and Breathtaking Beautiful

1. Stunning Snowy Landscapes.  With the mountains covered in snow against the blue skies…breathtaking!

2 Wildlife Viewing. Elk, mule deer, and bighorn sheep are more active and easier to spot.  Every time it snows it seems that we find deer  tracks on our property and often Elk ones as well.   The bighorn sheep make their appearance between Novermber and February.

3. Winter Activities Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Skiing – Sledding & Tubing – Hidden Valley, a former ski area, is now the park’s official sledding hill. It's a favorite among our guests with children.

4. Unique Photography Opportunities. Frozen waterfalls, snow-covered peaks, and pristine winter light create magical photo moments.  We especially enjoy seeing Alberta Falls frozen over!

5. Cozy Mountain Town Vibes Estes Park is charming in winter, with festive lights, and a relaxed atmosphere.

6. No Timed Entry Permits From mid-October through early May, visitors can enter RMNP without the summer-timed entry reservation system.
